The Ukrainian Association of Village Councils (VASSR) was officially registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 5 September 2009.
The structure of VASSR includes villages, town councils, representing more than 8,500 local communities, and more than 80% of farmers who, through their representatives, supported its creation.
